Introducing families to their elementary school community - providing free meals to families and students!
The Monday before school begins (August 20) families flood into the school building for one of the busiest and most well attended events of the year with over 400 in attendance: Back to School Night!
This event allows students to meet their new teacher, see their classroom and for new students to get the “lay of the land.”
In order to make this event as approachable as possible for all families, we like to offer a FREE dinner to them. We’ve found that pizza and a choice of individually bagged chips has been the most well received by the Horizon Community.

The FAQ's
Is my sponsorship tax deductible?
Yes! All sponsorships and donations made to the Horizon Organization of Parents and Staff are tax deductible. You are welcome to request a receipt at any time or you may use our Tax ID when filing your annual taxes: 85-1450792.
Can I attend the event that I sponsor?
Absolutely. We would love to have you present at any event you choose to sponsor! In fact, we would love if you attended and shared either promotional products or simply volunteered at the event with branded gear on! Have an idea of how you would like to promote your business during the event? Let us know! We'd love to collaborate and make the event as successful as it can be for you.
If I don't attend, how do I know you utilized my sponsorship?
We are serious about our stewardship of your sponsorship or donation dollars. If you are unable to attend the event you sponsor, our organization leadership will be sure to reach out afterward with photos and a formal update of the event and how you were promoted. Have questions or want to talk to someone personally about your sponsorship? Don't hesitate to let us know. We are always willing to meet or connect.
Who do I send my logo to?
When you've made your sponsorship payment, we will reach out via email to ask for a high resolution file of your preferred logo. This will be used on all promo materials and event sponsorship benefits mentioned above.
Will there be someone I can stay in touch with about the event and my sponsorship?
Yes! You will stay in direct contact with both the current Board President and the Event Chair for the event you are sponsoring. If you ever have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to either one of them. Part of our priorities are to ensure we are available to you and respond in a timely manner.
Can I buy more than one sponsorship for one specific event?
You can! There is no pressure to do so, but if you would like to purchase more than one level of sponsorship, it will simply void any opportunity for an additional sponsor at that level.
i.e. You want to be the ONE main headline sponsor vs. one of two that we currently offer - both of which cost $250. Purchase (2) $250 sponsorships ($500 total) and your business would be the one sole sponsor of that event. Any other businesses would see this sponsorship opportunity as being "sold out."
